Cambio, novedad, revolución; llámenlo como quiera. Tras semanas de malos resultados y crispación, ha pasado lo que muchos anhelaban: la marcha de Cervera. Como recambio, ha aterrizado en el Heliodoro un intenso Raúl Agné que, aunque a priori no dice nada, tendrá la oportunidad de demostrar que vale sacando al equipo del pozo en el que se ha metido con su identidad perdida y su intensidad desaparecida.

Con pasado en equipos como Cádiz, Girona o Recre, la aparición del nuevo míster promete un fútbol más vertical y ofensivo, en el que lo importante será «buscar la portería del rival». Leído esto, comienzan los aplausos, visiones y alucinaciones. ¿Un Tenerife que no salga al empate? ¿Apostar por jugarle a quien sea?. Sí, suena bien, salvando el detalle de que la plantilla que hasta ahora has confeccionado va dirigida a otro tipo de juego. Sin ser mala con nadie, no me imagino a Aridane moviéndose a la velocidad de la luz entre líneas. Ojalá.

Pero seamos buenos y no tengamos (demasiados) prejuicios, dejemos al hombre trabajar. Que el domingo cuando nos pongamos la elástica blanquiazul y nos dirijamos hacia el Estadio no vayamos con la expectativa de sentarnos en la grada a que los oídos nos estallen y la vista se nos nuble al ver cuatro gatos mal ordenados sobre el verde. Que sí, que ha pasado, pero la afición también ha apostar por el cambio. Sobre todo, el de actitud.

El 17 de enero de 2014, casi con el cuerpo carnavalero, escribía sobre la salida de Aragoneses, Óscar Rico y Raúl Llorente, así como de la mejora que se estaba produciendo en un Tenerife que hasta empezaba a gustar. Hoy, poco más de una año después, retomo el título, buscando la segunda parte de la historia con renovados protagonistas.

Porque sí, hay muchas heridas, mucho enfado e incluso dolor. Porque el perder, de la manera que se ha hecho, algunos lo ven como imperdonable. Los bandos, esos que se han creado a uno y otro lado del presidente, entrenador, jugadores e, incluso, aficionados, no benefician a nadie.

La llegada del técnico aragonés es la oportunidad perfecta para disuadirlos, entregar las armas y levantar las bufandas al viento. Remar en una misma dirección, apostar por los nuestros y tener claro que, por el bien del Tenerife, más nos vale salir. ¿Haciendo guerrillas twitteras con periodistas, jugadores y peñas de por medio? No es el camino.

Cierro este post con la carta de despedida de Cervera. A estas alturas, supongo que todos la habrán visto. Desde mi humilde opinión, el ya ex míster merece un reconocimiento en este rinconcito, pues, habiéndolo hecho mal o bien, mejor o pero, lo que está claro es que la profesionalidad de Álvaro no se puede discutir. Le pese a quién le pese.
