Hoy, mientras paseaba por las páginas de El Mundo, me encontré, al menos, una noticia bastante penosa, de esas que te dejan pensando qué hacemos, cuál es nuestra misión, si es necesario traspasar ciertas barreras para vender ejemplares. 
El artículo en cuestión, bien situado en portada, le ponía nombre y apellidos a las víctimas del trágico accidente de Santiago. Como si esto ya no fuera suficiente, contaba las razones por las que Fulanito y Menganito viajaban en ese tren, quién les esperaba, quién no les verá más. Un ejercicio fuera de lugar que a nadie que esté tranquilamente leyendo prensa en la barra del bar le interesa. Un amarillismo, un morbo, asqueroso.
Recuerdo estas dos columnas de Vicent, con dos visiones de los periodistas. Le sumo y le quito características a ambas. A día de hoy, todavía me cuesta definirnos. Lo que tengo claro, es que no somos – o no deberíamos ser- los fabricantes del morbo.
